Bucket Club is a multi award-winning company, led by director Nel Crouch and produced by Farnham Maltings. Bucket Club makes playful, theatrical work around mythology, identity and mundanity with live electronic music and sound design.
Our first show, Lorraine & Alan toured nationally in Spring 2015. It’s a modern day re-telling of the Selkie myth featuring live electronic sound design, song and several hundred plastic bottles. At the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe it won the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence and a Musical Theatre Network Award for Innovation, as well as being shortlisted for the Arches Brick Award and a Peter Brook Empty Space Award.
Our second show, Fossils, undertook a pilot tour and played at the Pleasance Dome at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe, where it was shortlisted for the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence. It played at Brits Off Broadway and toured the UK in 2017.
Launch Party, our co-production with Farnham Maltings, undertook a national rural tour in Autumn 2016.
