Bucket Club make adventurous theatre for audiences of all ages. Our work is playful and collaborative, placing its audience at its core. It’s often very funny, it’s usually very beautiful and it always involves live music and sound design.

The company is led by director and writer Nel Crouch. Associates include designer Rebecca Jane Wood, writer and dramaturg Marietta Kirkbride and composer David Ridley. We’re produced by Farnham Maltings.

Past shows have won awards including the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence and the Musical Theatre Network Award for Innovation. Our most recent show was Five Children and It, the Christmas show for the egg.

Last summer we toured a new family show called Catch That Beast! with the house venue network. We’re also developing a new Christmas show for Farnham Maltings, an idea called Fifty Foot, which has received support from the RSC and the Almeida, and an international collaboration with Canada’s Ghost River Theatre.
