Catch that beast!
Catch That Beast! is a magical, deliciously silly outdoor show about a society with one mission: to capture mythical beasts. Through recruiting the audience as new members, the show explores how we interact with wild things and how the youngest among us might bring about change. Full of offbeat humour, original live music, inventive puppetry and audience participation, it is suitable for audiences aged 5-11.
Catch That Beast! toured in summer 2022 with the house venue network, as well as touring primary schools in Birmingham with Birmingham Hippodrome Education Network.

Catch That Beast! is based on The Beasts, a 20 minute outdoor show co-commissioned by the Lyric Hammersmith, GDIF, Latitude and Imagine Watford in 2014. This show was performed by Matt Lister, Becky Ripley, Emily Tate and Letty Thomas with music devised and performed by Marietta Kirkbride, Aaron May and David Ridley.
